After an impressive 7-3 run in the WEC that saw him earn two FOTN honors and challenge for the bantamweight championship in the organization's final event, fan favorite, Scott Jorgensen has yet to match that success inside the UFC's octagon.
After winning his first two, Jorgensen has since gone on to lose 5 of his last 6 bouts. Most recently submitting to Jussier da Silva at UFC Fight Night 39. That loss puts him on the first 3 fight losing skid of his 8 year career, and bring his record inside the UFC to 3-5. Although managing to gather a pair of FOTN honors along with a SOTN bonus in 8 bouts, could he be on the copping block? Is it time for him to see what he can do in a smaller organization?
