So, anyone want to dig into this study from Toronto? My best friend was a research assistant in his psych undergrad where they have to adhere to really strict research guidelines and he seems to think the data is thoroughly handled. The article states that MMA, with its repetitive strikes to the head, has more TBI's than other combat sports.
Compare the report and its findings to this article by David Zinczenko, a guy with zero health creds who built himself a small fortune with the "Eat This Not That!" books, coming out in defense of MMA with....well, no proof whatsoever. Apparently, it does more than look dangerous after all, David.
