Karo Parisyan makes bizarre joke about Ronda Rousey, Manny Gamburyan and tampons

ck in the day Karo Parisyan was a top Welterweight in the UFC. From 2003 - 2010 he went 8-4 in the UFC with 1 NC. But that's been a long time. Currently he's 1-1 in Bellator and hoping to turn things around. He spoke to MMA Junkie and the interview delved into the MMA gym politics involving Karo, his cousin Manny Gamburyan and their long-time training partner Ronda Rousey.



All three fighters got their start in MMA under the legendary Armenian Judoka Gokor Chivichyan at his Hayastan MMA Academy in Hollywood, CA. Parisyan left the gym for many long stretches during his various battles with personal demons including an untreated torn hamstring, pain pills and a less than complete commitment to hard training. But now Karo is back and he appears to want his cousin Manny and Ronda Rousey to come back to Hayastan too. Manny and Ronda mostly train with Edmund Tarverdyan at Glendale Fighting Club a few blocks from Hayastan.



Here's what Karo had to say about all that:

"Why is Ronda frickin good? Why is Ronda an animal, this little white girl? Because guys would not come train with us," he said. "They didn't want to come train with us, because they thought we were animals and we would hurt them. Ronda was this little white girl that would get on the mat and cry.



"I would have to yell at her and say, ‘You better suck your lip back in right now and get on the f-king mat. We're not dealing with your crap, Ronda.' And she would suck it in. I would say a small joke and maybe smile, and boom, she was on the mat again, and she was f-king dudes up. That's why she's so good, because she was training with animals like us. And she's naturally strong. Ronda's legit.



"That's all good," Parisyan said. "No animosity toward them. Good for Manny, good for Ronda, because Manny's always there with her at the trainings and stuff, and Ronda might be on her period and she might take her underwear off and stuff, so Manny helps her out with that stuff, too, like with the tampons and everything else."



He jokingly added, "I'm being a d*ck to them."

Oh Karo. We do know who we're talking to bro. We do.
