So, I'm going to learn guitar.
I currently have a Taylor acoustic that is very nice. That being said I would also like an electric as they're a little easier on the fingers, and I'd like to be able to plug into my mixer and use headphones for late night practicing.
I don't know much about guitars, and what to look for in one. I want to spend as little as possible right now, while still getting something that is good and that will last. Hopefully ya'll can fill me in on where that "line" is between a crap guitar, and a decent guitar that is a deal. I'm also very handy with a soldering iron so replacing crap electronics isn't a big deal breaker if it can save me some money.
Any thoughts? I don't really have a budget, I'll spend what needs to be spent...but under $200 is preferred. Under $100 would be excellent if it's not garbage. Don't need an amp at the moment.
