Vintech 573 vs Neve 511 vs Avalon 737 vs Drawmer 1960 vs ISA 828

This is a Rode nt2 mic, on the back of a Steinway K52 upright. The mic didn't move at all between takes. It's too close to the wall for a great sound...but so be it, just wanted to do a quick test, and then it occured to that, given that the sound was harmonically rich, it might be of interest to someone.

All examples are going through an apogee rosetta 200 into logic...except for the Focusrite ISA 828, which is using it's own converters.



In no particular order, here are the pre-amps used.

RND 511 with SILK engaged at max, Vintech 573 regular impedance setting, Focusrite ISA 828, Drawmer 1960 (with no compression), Avalon 737 (with No compression).
