Hello everyone,
I recently bought a Scarlett 6i6 and ISA One preamp. I connected a 1/4 TRS into input 1 on the scarlett with an XLR cable into the ISA One line input. I connected my microphone to the mic input on the ISA One and I have been unable to pick up a microphone signal on the Scarlett MixControl or my DAW (I record in Cubase) When I turn on the phantom power on the ISA One and turn on the mic setting the VU meter picks up the mic but nothing records through my computer. I also tested by just connecting my mic into the line 1 of my Scarlett and it instantly picks up the mic in the MixControl and I can record vocals again no problem.
Does anyone know what this problem could possibly be? I have searched everywhere and have not been able to find an answer. It seems that the ISA One is not properly communicating with my Scarlett. Could it be a faulty cable? I purchased a Gotham Audio GAC-4/1 Quad balanced XLR male to 1/4" Trs patch cable.
Thank you for the help
