This is actually songwriting related: I'm trying to record rap in the 90's eurodance style and I have a question please. I know rapping doesn't follow melody but rhythm, now the question is: do these notes must always follow the root note or it can follow other notes of the scale? Is it important for the rapper to always remain in tune and stick to the root note for example? Is there need for auto-tune software to fix the imperfections if any? Thanks!
