Rod Gervais Window Design

I'm adding a live tracking space to a long existing mix room and have been following guidelines in Rod's great book for this my second studio build. Getting ready to order glass for my window. The glass will be splayed, 3/4 pane on one side, 1/2" on the other. Had a couple questions per the book.



1. What size neoprene setting blocks should I use per your instructions on page 87 for this glass thickness?



2. Since the glass is "floating" on these blocks, how much leeway should I allow in glass size as compared to the actual window frame opening?
