Help me chose between the Strymon BigSky, Flint and Eventide space.
I want to add a reverb unit to my live set. ( Synth / Electric Bass / Octatrack / Drum Machine / Vocals)
I have been combing over the Big sky vs. Eventide Space battle for months. Went to the local shop to try the big sky, and the guy brought over the Strymon Flint and blew my mind, as a streamlined, versatile little solution.
1. The Flint sounds great, very simple and immediate.
2. The Big sky sounds real' pretty, almost ridiculous.
3. I haven't had the chance to try a space, but I hear they are incredible.
Is the Flint's reverb sound really comparable to the Room / Plate / Spring on the big sky? How do these two compare to the Space?
Anybody have experience with these from a multi setup point of view? Everything I read about about this stuff is typically so guitar centric. I'm looking for any info about how they work with drum machines, synths, organs etc.
Any insight into these devices would be welcome.
