I borrowed a TL Audio 2051 Voice Processor and played around with it in the studio, only tried it briefly as a preamp (had a pretty nice sound that differed from my other pres); but I fell in love with it as a distortion unit. Had some good luck with it on drums in a few productions. I was gonna buy it from him but apparently he promised to sell it to someone else.
Looking at eBay these are pretty expensive second hand (400-500 bucks, I was gonna get this one for 150-200), a bit too much for something I'm not using everyday. Still, I will miss it.
Any other suggestions for this kind of mid end tube preamp?
