5 Reasons to watch Desert Force Bahrain

First of all, I know many guys doesnt care much about whats going on in less internationally recognized MMA organizations.

Thanks to the rich sheiks of Emirates, alot of money have been provided to bring up MMA, BJJ, and Muay thai in the region.

And now with the help of the IMMAF in organizing the sport, rules, judges, referees , etc. MMA seems to have a bright future in the Middle East region.

So I believe that the Middle East is going to bring the next Fighters breed along with africa !

For those who are interested, the following :

Headlined by the first title defense in Desert Force history, “Desert Force Bahrain” will be a pivotal event for many fighters involved on the card.

Not only one man will emerge as the number one fighter in his respective division, but others will rise to the top and potentially earn a title shot

or jump into the title picture.

In case you need them, here are five reasons you should watch Desert Force this March!

1- First title defense in Desert force History

This title fight is crazy on many different levels! Being the first ever title defense in Desert Force history doubles the excitment of this feather weight bout. The current Desert Force Featherweight Champion Abdulkareem Al Selwady will defend his strap agaisnt the challenger from Saudi Arabia, Aziz Julaidan in one of the tightest most exciting matchups so fat in 2014! Al Selwady has been almost untested since stepping foot in the Octagon beating the likes of Noureldine Issam, Ahman Ansari and Yousef Hamad in impressive Fashion. His violent style features brutal strking that scurries away his opponents.

2- Gabriel Tayeh’s Divisional Debut

After being unlucky with his latest 2 appearances at Desert Force, the Palestinian fighter drops down to lightweight to face Mohammad Arti in a battle of blackbelts only at Desert Force bahrain.

They’re two very athletic lighweights who can not only display elite grappling skills at any point in time, but each of the has drastically evolved as a striker over the past 2 years.

We’ll see who comes out on top , and if a win over Arti can land Tayeh within the Divisions top.

3- The first Desert Force in Bahrain

The first time Desert force promotion sets cage in Bahrain, an event that will go down in history as the first ever title defense under the Desert Force promotion. Not only is this perfect for all the MMA fans in the Gulf region, Desert Force continues the Arab world invasion as one of the best MMA promotions in the Middle East.

4- Possible Top Contender

A welterweight battle pitting the Tunisian from Team Nogueira Dubai that choked the world, Mounir Lazzez squaring off against a truly Arab MMA veteran Amr wahman coming from an impressive win as well against Monfort. This fight could nominate the next Welterweight contender , or will surely put the winner in line for a title shot very very soon.

5- UAE’s Mohammad Yahya Makes a Tough Debut

One of the most talked about talents in UAE will join the Desert Force legoen in a debut a very hard debut fight against Hamzeh Nafush. Yahya comes in with 2 wins as a semi pro and will face one of the most dominant fighters at lighweight in a fight of the night scrap. This is one of my favorite fights on the card. I expect a hard fought brawl… nothing less !
