I knew Teixeira didn't stand a chance against Jones. From the start I anticipated Jones taking him down and implementing his ground and pound game. Texeira just wasn't able to deal with Jones athleticism and although he stuffed the first take down, he was not able to answer the rest. Texeira finally broke after the amount of damaged he had received from being on the bottom. He only had a punchers chance and I felt like I was watching a lesser version of Belfort. The round four kimura finish by Jones is another reason why he truly is the next generation and will continue to stay the champion.
