Pitch warping problem in 192khz

Hi guys, I'm editing a whole bunch of VO tracks sent to me from around the world. Some are in 192khz and some of these are doing strange pitch warping, speeding up, adding strange intervals. I'm guessing the sound card is not reading the 192khz speed correctly, though some of the files are fine. It my not be my computer either as the developer has noticed the same thing.



Could it be our sound cards are not setup correctly or do you think we need to get the VOs' to re-record in 48khz?
