Have you ever imagine something that would be wonderful if it were real?
Well two guys made their (and many of our) dreams and their vision reality.
I'm a delighted user who has the opportunity to have a HG-2.
We all know how special it is when we buy a piece of gear and feel that the money was well spent.
Belive me that for all the satisfaction the HG-2 give me...every dollar was well spent.
My first use was in a mix that i'm working on.When i activate the unit and start to tune some knobs and switches, man...things start to happen ;)
The first feeling is quality enhancement (that "Air" switch...) then when you rise the Pentode And Triode knobs there's a rainbow of colors that for logical reason you would expect.
Is a pleasure to hear the Tubes gluing the signal without all the artifacts the attack and release have.
The RMS rises as you slightly turn the Pentode and Triode up from soft to hard settings.
If you like healthy saturation ...the HG-2 have it :) nice and round giving strength to the mix and making it sound rich and full.
Probably my way of mixing will change...The HG-2 will be permanently connected in mix bus to enjoy all the benefits it gives to the mix.
