Send Mixing Engineer Dry or Wet Stems?

What's good Slutz!?

After enrolling in audio school, I now have the opportunity to let others mix my music. The thing I am confused about is what to give them. I know they need each track, "stem", so I don't mean that. Let me explain. Usually when I create a song, I use MIDI tracks and audio tracks when I'm using samples. Since recording instruments is relatively new to me, I have yet to record anything and use it in a song. When I am producing a song, I tend to "mix" as I go. What I mean by that is, I will pan tracks, add EQ, compression, reverb, etc. Not only do I add these things, I also tend to have a ton of automation going on. So my main confusion is, do I send the person doing the mix the stems with all the effects applied, or do I remove all my effects and give them the dry stems? I think that the effects and automation I use play a huge roll in how I want the song to sound, and fear that by giving them the dry stems, the song will turn out completely different than I intend.

So my main questions are:

1) Do I give the person stems that include everything I have used already?

2) Do I remove any panning and volume adjustments made, leaving all the effects on, and send them that?

3) Do I remove all effects, pan everything to the center, and leave the faders where they are?

Thanks Slutz,

Doti
