hi, I have a Midas F24 and I am going to upgrade the system with 16 channels of better conversion via a thunderbolt Motu 1248 plus a 8 channel Lucid 88192, as the motu is thunderbolt and comes with 4 adat interfaces for further upgrades.
Both devices seem to be advisable for external clocking.
I am considering a Isochrone OCX for this, or buying a good 2 channels converter like Mytek 192 or Burl B2 to record the mixes, and clock the Lucid and the Motu with it, as they both seem to have a very good clock.
I do not have any experience on clocking different digital interfaces, so I would like if there is something wrong in my plan, and which would be the better option overall - sound wise (external dedicated good clock device for those 16 channels, or a good 2 channel ADC clocking them).
