Why are most sample packs not labeled with major/minor along with sample key?

Hi,

Ive purchased dozens of sample packs from loopmasters and most packs are not labeled major or minor along with the sample key. Im talking about musical samples, not one shot drum samples. This seems to be case with most packs I come across. Why is this? Am I missing something?

Please don't tell me to use my ears to guess whether the sample is in major or minor - it's not obvious a lot of the time. Using my ears would seem like a lot of work seeing as I have hundreds or samples that aren't labeled major or minor.

Knowing whether a sample is in major or minor helps you transpose that sample by a particular number of semitones if its the case you want to change it to suite the key in which you are writing.

This seems like a big omission by pack makers. Could someone shed some light on this for me.

Big thanks. Sorry if this is comes across as too noobish a question.
