Hi all,
I'm trying to aggreagate 2 Mackie 1620i mixers in Pro Tools 9.
I went to Audio/Midi setup and assigned them to Pro Tools Aggregate.
So far so good. Had to rename the I/0 paths for the second mixer.
A Pro Tools session sees all inputs and microphones hooked up to the
first and second mixer work in a session.
My question is the clock. One Mackie is an older model that runs on Mac without a driver. The other is newer and won't work without a driver.
In Audio/Midi setup, Pro Tools Aggregate, The newer Mackie has a little clock symbol and shows clock as "default", the older Mackie has a little waveform symbol and shows clock as "internal".
Just curious how this works with Pro Tools and if anyone using Aggregate Devices has sync problems with tracks recorded from separate devices?
Thanks
