Hey good people,
With the risk of sounding like a complete noob (which I am when it comes down to this), I have been having this problem lately with a couple of drum breaks I found. When I pan the break 100% on the left or on the right, I still hear it as it if its in the dead center of the track. I had this problem also with recorded sound from sony handycam, when I try to pan the sound left or right, it shows on the meter that it is panned (still you can see the sound from the other side on the meter also) but it comes out like it's in the center. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
ps. I am working with stereo WAV files, but I tried converting them to Mono and than to pan them. Unluckily, I get the same effect.
