Looking for the best sample based synth for music styles similar to this:
I'm currently considering the following synths with an intent to program the hell out of them:
1. Roland JV1080 with Vocal, Ethnic and Orchestral expansion cards.
Good low end, both audio frequency and price but somewhat slow to program.
2. Roland Integra 7.
Sounds from all the Roland expansion boards, better sound quality, new. Requires an editor. Pricy.
3. Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.
The greatest number of useful sounds. Plenty of sample mangling and sound design options. The only pain - it's software - would need to buy a dedicated computer with a touchscreen and an RME audio interface to bring it back to hardware where all my music belongs - the most expensive option but maybe worth it?
4. Other options? Motif XF? Kurzweil?
My budget is around £2000.
