I have the original Apogee Duet-1 which I am using with Logic Pro but a friend keeps dissing it and saying its not a real studio audio interface, more like a mobile recording device and recommends I get this unit from Focusrite called the Scarlett 2i2 for my small home studio project.
What are your opinion on this? Is the proposed scarlet model far superior to the Apogee Duet-1? Thank you!
