Prophet 12 and Pro-2

Hi everyone,

Some weeks ago i ordered a Pro-2. I was torn between the Prophet 12 and the Pro-2. I did check out all available demos.

In the end the Pro-2 made it due to the filters.

I was not sure if i will miss real polyponie. The sound of the Pro-2 is really nice. I like it a lot, but i'm catching myself more and more to play real chords. Don't get me wrong, the paraphonic mode in the Pro-2 is nice, but it feels a bit random. If you do not set up the oscillators with the exact same parameters, you will get random results playing the same chord.

I'm now considering buying the prophet 12 to team up with the pro-2. Probably the module.

Is there anyone who has both synths? Do you think it is a good idea, will they compliment each other?

I really want a synth to make deep soundscapes, drones and pads. The Pro-2 is superb for leads, bass and sequences and i will keep it.

Probably i will wait for NAMM 2015 and decide afterwards.
