Ive been having Cpu spikes on my maxed out macbook pro retina. it seems to have something to do with kontakt.
I run the samples from the internal SSD and the session on an external SSD via USB 3. Ive been told USB 3 is not very good to use as it uses the same internal bus or something and that using a thunderbolt drive or firewire through an adapter may fix this.
Has anyone sorted this problem this way?
Any other fixes?
