hi all, new to this forum, but not to EM or the like...
...Very comfortable working ITB after years working with the earliest DAWs and rather extensive MIDI systems... mostly set-up for live keyboard-oriented performance...
I did a search on this forum and read lots of really informative threads...so thanks everyone.
at the moment, looking to sync together for live improvisational performance three pieces of kit: Moog LP, Arturia BeatStep, and Volca Beats... a pretty basic setup, but one that gives some relief from the laptop (!)
Slaving the BS and VB to Ableton is easy and works well... (by the way, can't seem to do this in Reason, as multi-port clock out doesn't seem to be an option)
Question is, any way to have the Arturia be the master, driving the Moog, and be in sync with the Volca? (without involving the computer)...or have the volca be the master, synced with the Arturia, which would still be driving the Moog.
Tried CV, but it was pretty dicey.
or perhaps a more elegant solution? thanks very much!
