hi, i normally post in the n00b forum, just a guitarist.
i got focal solo 6be's a while back, my current headphones are akg 240 mkIIs, and i've just realized they're night and day after working absent mindedly a couple of nights recently through the 240s because people upstairs were sleeping, only to turn on the focals in the morning and been like, wtf.
my brother listens through Bose, and whatever new speaker technology that focal and bose use really doesn't translate through the 240s. ... today's speakers are different. i'll keep the 240s of course; can always use another point of perception but i'm thinking now i need headphones that compliment the focals. what would be really beneficial would be to hear relatively the same thing through the headphones as i do through the monitors, and any recommendations would be appreciated :) thanks!
