I just bought a pair for M-Audio BX8A speakers used (bad idea).
As soon as I got them home into a quiet room I realized they have a slight hum in the tweeter as soon as they are turned on (even when disconnected).
The hum is identical on both speakers. I cracked one open to check for bad capacitors but I see no bloating or leaking.
Any ideas what I should do? Do some monitors just have a background noise even when disconnected?
