Monitor buying help

Right now i have some cheap Krk Rokit 5's which leaves me having to post to soundcloud to get an idea of how my mix sounds in one format that i will be end up posting more songs as i get them completed. Tax return time is just around the corner and with some money saved im getting an Apollo Twin Duo and UA 4-710D for some extra I/O and i think having better monitors is a must.



I hear good things about Yamaha HS7 or 8 for the clarity which they provide, anything else i should be looking for? $400 to $600



i know i should be spending more on monitors if im springing for decent quality interface and mic pre's but right for the mean time would those work well?
