So I feel like it's about time to upgrade the Presonus Firestudio tube I've been using for years as my interface. The Apogee Quartet is looking very appealing to me, and since I never need more than four inputs at a time, it should fill my needs.
The only thing keeping me from making the purchase is that I recently bought a new iMac with thunderbolt connections. Basically I feel like I wouldn't be using the computers full potential to get a usb interface. I'm not really even sure if it makes that much sense to be worried about, maybe someone could enlighten me. But I'm also wondering if there is a similar product to the Quartet, quality and price wise, that uses thunderbolt rather than usb. Thanks!
