i want to set up a couple of patch bays with my 1604 VLZ and external kit, i'm ok with most of it, the bit thats twisting my melon is how you would cable up the inserts ? Wouldn't plugging something into them break the signal path?
My imaginings of how it might work is if i had the Y lead coming out to a normaled patchbay top & bottom ( would this effectively seal the break ?) and be much like if a bit of kit was in place
