Home studio acoustics question

I am currently in the process of redoing the acoustic treatment and layout of my home studio and I have a few questions:

1. I have a rectangular room 12' W X 18' L with 8ft ceilings. I have set up my monitoring desk along the front short wall so that the speakers are firing down the length of the room. The problem I am having is that the entry door to the room is also on that short front wall. This is preventing me from obtaining full symmetry for my monitoring position. I have place the monitors as close as possible to symmetrical without obstructing my entry to the room.

Are there any workarounds for this? Possibly a portable gobo or first reflection point absorber to trick the monitors?

2. Is it necessary to place angled absorption panels where the walls meet the ceiling in the ceiling corners and around the room as well? I am in the process of installing corner bass traps, first reflection absorbers, etc. Wasn't sure if I needed similar treatment where the ceiling meets the walls?

3. I had an old drop ceiling that I took down. I filled the stud cavity with R-30. Does this provide enough absorption or is it advisable to still place absorptive clouds above both the mix and drum overhead mics?

4. Behind my drum kit, the opposite wall from the mix desk are two closets with sliding doors. These closets are necessary storage space. I have hung moving blankets to stop any closet door rattles, vibration, etc. I was wondering, after reading about LEDE application, is it advisable to put some sort of diffusion in this area. This wall is 8ft from my mix position. I was toying around with a portable solution, perhaps a diffuser hung from the rafters behind my kit that is easily removed when I need access to my gear storage closets?

I have been reading this forum for a while and would appreciate any sage advice on my above questions. Thanks in advance!
