Noise canceling headphones for single room studio...

If anyone has actually used noise canceling headphones for guitar amp and drum tracking, I'd love to hear about your experience.



I am temporarily in a single large room, and was thinking the Bose 25's may work out for trying to get mic positions, etc.



Yes, I know not ideal, and not perfectly flat. Not looking for speculation, or wanting to debate the negatives. Just looking to hear from anyone who has actually tried it.
