Figure8 Mic for Vocals

Greetings,

Looking for an affordable mic with figure8 pattern for my next project. I'd spend 500 if there was a jump in quality but would rather get something used on ebay for 200ish.

Will be recording vocals and acoustic guitar simultaneously on this project. Hushed vocals and fingerpicking or strumming in the vein of Iron&Wine. MartinD15, Eastman 20p, Nylon String, Deering Goodtime2 Banjo.

I have a cad179 which I'm fairly happy with on guitar, but i don't like on my voice. Sounds muffled and flat. I just returned an avantone cv12 which I didn't like on my voice either... in addition this mic had a annoying ground level noise/hum. My voice can be quite nasally, especially mic'd closely, so I'm looking for a mic that might combat that a bit.

I recorded my last project on a Rode NT1 which I was pretty happy with... especially A/B'ing it against the avantoneCV12, cad179, and a AT2030 (which I'm not fond of). I have a 57 and 58beta too. I'm sending these into a Focusrite ISA One, then Presonus Firebox for A/D conversion, then Cubase. Only hanging blankets for sound treatment.

My voice here: Banner Radio Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos

The track TallManTooTall might be a good one to check out the kind of "scooped"/nasally character of my voice.

Thank you for your time and input!
