Looking for suggestions for setting a reverb so that it creates a "halo" over a dry sound, like a kick drum or percussion, when I don't want a long reverb tail, though I want to thicken up the sound. The kind of reverb that you can't really hear, and is mostly early reflections, but when removed it is noticeable. Is it best to use short delays, or reverbs with a very short pre-delay and decay, and low mix as an insert on each sound? Any recommendations would be great. Thanks!
