Buying my first external ADC, a few questions..

Hey guys, I track vocals at home with a Focusrite 2i2 interface.



I am upgrading my conversion by purchasing a Burl B2 ADC.



Couple of questions, as I have never used an external ADC before.



Can I use this new Motu device to get the Burl B2 connected to my computer via usb:



MOTU.com - Introducing the Monitor 8



1)If so, when tracking vox to my comp, the Burl B2 would serve as the ADC and the Motu Monitor 8 would serve as the ADC, correct?



2)My gear will be a Mike E El9 preamp/channel strip, and a wa76 compressor.

I would connect mic to preamp, preamp to wa76, and wa76 into Burl 2, and Burl 2 into Motu Monitor 8, and Motu into computer via USB, correct?



Am I on the right page here?
