Don't know where to begin. I had trouble in the past using Ivory II, would get errors telling me that my hard drive was too slow. The sound quality in general also felt lackluster. I since moved it to an internal SSD, which completely eliminated the hard-drive-too-slow issue, but I noticed one minor problem that hasn't changed. I can't really explain it well, but it feels almost as if the sound I'm hearing has phasing problems... or something. Some notes that I hit on my keyboard sound very clear, crisp, while others seem to just fall into complete obscurity. It's like this strange warble that makes the notes seem very quiet.
I'm not recording any playback of any sort, it's just a matter of listening to the notes being played in real time.
It's the strangest thing. It's not consistent though, so sometimes the notes will sound fine while other times, when I play those exact notes, it seems to just get really quiet and weird. bumpkin
It's most noticeable when I play multiple notes at the same time / really fast, or when I hold down the damper pedal.
What might this strange peculiar phenomenon be?
