Recording a small chamber orchestra in an acoustically dead room.

In two weeks I get to record a small chamber orchestra in what the conductor calls a dead "black box theater" with 168 seats for the audience. I have done this group before and they are an amazing chamber orchestra with lots of potential and lots of really GREAT younger college aged players. I want to do the best I can for them. Normally I would set up a stereo pair using ORTF but in this case I am not sure that is the best approach. I get to see and hear the room this Wednesday.



Suggestions?
