Hello All
I recently built a vocal booth, mostly going to be used for recording rap vocals.
So far, I am really liking the sound compared to how it was in my bedroom, vocals are much cleaner.
So here's the thing, I came on this site and looked around for information. I learned that for smaller booth sizes, it would be more straightforward to deaden the booth due to how sound travels in smaller spaces.
My booth is roughly 4' x 6'.
I used the Auralex studio foam wedge panels. I got a carpet on the floor and the walls / ceiling covered in the foam panels.
I am looking to maybe have a bit more...I guess vibrancy is the word.
Can this be done by removing some panels? Maybe on the wall that my mic is facing? I mean, the vocals are clean and dry, just looking to maybe add a bit of a "dynamic" element. I am not exactly a pro on sound so excuse me if I am not using the right terms.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
