I have been offered a Moog Prodigy in mint (and checked) condition and have got it here for testing. The price: EUR 1.200,-- (thats US$ 1500) including 1 year warranty. I absolutely fell in love with it for its vintage sound. :facepalm:
Having tried (and owning) a lot of synthesizers (Slim Phatty, BS2, MoPho, MS20mini) I find it very hard to find such an amazing sound. Only the Vermona Mono Lancet gets close imho but lacks the sync sounds.
Any idea what else might get close for less? Maybe an MFB Dominion SED? Please help, my wife will kill me if I spend so much money on an old machine wworried
