Hi guys,
I'm not new to gearslutz - but I'm definently new to this part of the forum. I've finally decided to stop buying expensive gear until I put up some Accoustic treatment. Please be patient with me as I try to get my head around this.
First I would like to build some panels to hang on my walls. I'm planning on doing the standard method of building a wooden frame to house some absorption material and then cover it with some type of cloth.
So - I live in Australia and I'm wondering if someone could tell me if this product is good to use - http://ift.tt/1Cr6Cx8
I think it's the product that is described under this link (http://ift.tt/Q2aDRy) as "Insulco Tasman Insulation (Australia)". I'm looking at the 32kg m3 100mm stuff.
So I'm a bit confused - when looking at the bob golds link - should I be choosing the stuff that has the highest absorption number for all frequencies?
I'd really appreciate some help...

Am I buying the correct thing?
