Cant get my Vocals to work

Cant get my Vocals to work i have and Universal Audio Apollo quad and a miktek cv4 when i get to the console it show the mic working but when i go to protool it doesnt work i try a couple things but it doesnt work with i/o The green signal light comes on every time sound is made into the microphone. I can even hear audio when I speak into the mic.I just can't seem to get pro tools to agree with my setup.When I set up my outputs in the I/O screen, the studio monitors appear as orange/yellow as I select them but my input options all appear as white. I think this is where my problem Is there something I'm missing?

I have the mic line button appropriately pressed and my mic is powered.

Please help! so if you can give me a hand ill be very thankfull.
