Hello
I'm in search of a portable recorder to have on me at all times so I can quickly record any music ideas that come to me. As such it would be helpful if it were not too big and/or heavy.
Additionaly I'd like to use it for taking outside to record some field sounds, often in quiet settings such as nature for sampling and use in tracks.
I don't think I'd take advantage of using XLR inputs to add my own mics and would be using the onboard ones more, and aside from being able to do the above I wouldn't require many features, just as basic as possible.
I'd say my maximum budget limit is £150, around the price of a Tascam Dr-40, of which I've heard good things, but I'm not sure if something like this is overkill for my purposes. More more than happy to buy second hand. Any help and best bang for buck ideas are greatly appreciated :) Thanks
