I am looking for a Trim plug in tool that has an automatic volume control. This would enable me to I play with another tone shaping plug in and have it's volume stay the same, whilst I adjust it in real time.
I imagine this Trim tool would have 2 plug in's, and A & B.
The "Trim A" goes in slot 1 of my DAW track. It is a volume sensor with 2 options: Peak & RMS/Loudness match.
In slot 2 of my DAW I enter my plug-in of choice, the one I want to play with, and now without any volume change, as I change the controls.
The "Trim B" goes in slot 3 of my DAW track, it reads the volume from plug "A" and adjusts the volume to match it, in real time.
This will speed up my work flow as i'll be able to hear what I'm really doing, help me with the louder is better issue & stop me from going into the red.
Does this exist or similiar exist?
