best turntable and mixer setup to play both vinyl and digital files

While I have played around some with digital djing in Ableton, I am starting a new live project with some live instruments but vinyl and digital dj'ing at its center. So, I need a setup that is hopefully not overly complex that allows for mixing both vinyl and digital files (whether digital files are from laptop, USB stick, etc)..



I remember vinyl turntables and software a few years ago that were time tracked just to play digital, but I don't remember if these would also play actual vinyl.



What is the best setup for this? Should I look at a basic vinyl turntable setup and get a mixer that has more channels to include digital files and plan on incorporating a laptop? Are there other gear options out there that would incorporate both? Looking for the most compact version of this setup, if possible :)
