Hi all, my first post here so be gentle. I have built a garden room of wood construction with 3/4" ship lap cladding on the outside, a 4" stud work cavity stuffed with 7" rockwool. Plasterboard on inside and carpeted floor. It's primarily used for listening to music and watching films but I will no doubt record guitar in there when time permits. I haven't measured yet but plan to cover the back wall with three 2' x 4' panels, it's only 7' wide by 10' long. First reflection points are a problem for the left speaker as there are heavy double glazed french doors on that side. Would kilo wool serge curtains help and could I prop the rear wall panels up before fixing to the wall to listen for any differences in sound quality. Sound quality as is, is reasonably good but I know it could be much better.
