Looking to buy a new acoustic and have a budget of £1000 max would like to get some change out of that but can stretch to it if needs be. Im new to acoustics though so am looking for some advice on what to get, and whats good value for that price. It will need to have some sort of pickup system installed so i can plug it in as i will be using it for gigs as well as recording so i won't always be able to mic up and will have to plug in.
Ive been looking at a few of the more famous brands online Martin, Taylor etc and at the price point I'm looking the back and sides are always HPL which seems a little bit disappointing. For a £1000 i would of thought you would get a guitar made of solid wood especially from a big brand who make guitars in bulk. Although i have read reviews where people say they like the sound of these guitars and that the back and sides don't affect the sound as much as the top.
I prefer 000m and grand auditorium shaped acoustics so if you could recommend some within the price range I'm looking for that would be great.
Any help appreciated,
Thanks
