Well, after all of my disastrous exploits with various interfaces lately, I've finally found one that does the job, isn't ridiculously expensive, is reliable, and sounds good. This thing may not be considered "high end" in an way whatsoever, but the sound quality to my old ears is more than good enough. I have been through a few lately, and had problems ranging from poor sound quality, and units just not working at all with my Mac.
I'm not going to mention any names here, as I don't want or get into any arguments, or give any manufactures a bad rep, we all know that some things just don't work for some people, but this little Focusrite is the bees knees, and I should have got it sooner. Plus, being in the UK I can just call them up if anything goes wrong and actually talk to someone, this is a great plus, rather than have to fill out a support form and wait for an age before you get a reply.
