Dual oscillator synths recommendations

Hi slutz,



I'm looking for a dual oscillator synthesizer that can take CV and Gate inputs. Around $1000. Preferably less. It doesn't need to have the most amazing bass, but should be capable of a lot of unique sounds. Patching would be nice. It doesn't need to have a keyboard built in, nor have MIDI, but fine if it does. Also, it can't be vintage, but I'm open to remakes of a classic.



I had a Minimoog Voyager and found the sounds too buttery and smooth. Which I love, but I want capabilities for creamy and harsh tones.



I thought about the ms-20 mini and Oberheim SEM. Thoughts and recommendations?
