Hi guys,
So I was sent an email by a couple of relatively unknown composers asking me if I would Master two songs of theirs so they could "sample" my work.
I was kind of in disbelief so I sent them a clarification email and they indeed would like two songs Mastered for free so they could decide if I would be a good fit to master their catalog.
To me, this seems like they are trying to con me out of free Mastering work. I consider my time valuable and my services to be valuable, so this seems insulting to me.
Has anyone else here had to deal with requests like these from clients?
