Hi have looked at a KRK 10s thread with KRK VXT6's which had a lot of good info. I have also downloaded the KRK limited bandwidth test tones, all was going well until I got to a bit at the end of the KRK 10s set up procedure that really confused me.
That bit was OK, but then...
That final bit really threw me off. The VXT6's have a low frequency of 49Hz so that would indicate setting the 10s to pass over 98Hz, is that what I should do or should I leave it at 80Hz.
Or should I go to 60Hz considering the 6's go down to 49Hz, how much overlap should I be looking at?
thanks

Finally, listen to some music you are familiar with and set the crossover level to a position where you only hear lows and no mid frequencies from the subwoofer.... |

A commonly accepted practice is to double the lowest frequency that the satellite speakers are rated for and use that as the crossover frequency. |
