Having serious distortion issues in Pro Tools (using 10 and 11 on separate Mac machines. OSX 10 Mavericks with Lacie Rugged Thuderbolt HD as a separate drive for saving sessions, but I'm still getting the distortion problem.
Tried changing the CPU up and down, the Buffer up and down, eveything in the Playback Engine. The sound goes away for a short while, then returns gradually getting worse until the instrument is no longer audible through the crackle and distortion.
This is really getting tedious. Any thoughts? Thanks.
